Roots and Shoots
Whether you’re a full-time vegan or choosing one or two days a week to be meat-free, Roots and Shoots’ world flavoured meal bowls are packed full of hearty goodness and mouth-watering flavours. All of our plant based dishes are additive, gluten and nut free, and naturally low in calories.
To ensure they’re as tasty as possible our talented chefs use classic techniques throughout the cooking process. Starting with lightly roasting spices to develop their flavours, we then combine these with gently sweated onions and vegetables to fuse together the aromatic flavours. We slow cook each dish for over two and a half hours to develop their flavours and textures, eliminating the need for artificial additives to flavour or thicken.
Roots and Shoots is based in Galway, and we source within Ireland whenever it is possible (season dependant!), to remain sustainable and support Irish vegetable farmers.
