This is a really tasty evening meal for all the family to enjoy. Healthy chicken with warming black pepper, sharp apples. Delicious served with rice or roast potato.
250ml Insanely Good Creamy Pepper Sauce
Salt & pepper
40 g Lakesore Rapeseed Oil
3 tablespoons chicken stock (use stock cube)
1 Manor Farm Chicken (about 1.5kg)
or 6 Manor Farm breast/thigh fillets
Chopped O’Hanlons parsley
2 medium sized Keelings Bramley Apples
25g Dairymaid Premium Spread
Divide chicken into 6 portions, coat in seasoned flour, shake off the excess. Heat butter in frying pan and fry chicken over medium heat until golden brown. Pour over the chicken stock and simmer gently for 30 mins or until tender. Remove chicken and keep warm.
Add Insanely Good Pepper sauce to the pan, scraping up brown bits from the bottom. Stir gently until heated through. Spoon over chicken and sprinkle on fresh chopped parsley. Serve garnished with apple slices. Apple garnish Peel & core apples, cut into round slices. Place on baking tray in one layer. Pour over butter coating the apples. Bake in preheated oven (180°C/350°F/Gas 4) for 10 minutes. Do not stir. Serve apple garnish hot. 1
