Chocolate Brownie Sundae

The summer has turned a little chilly and the sun is playing a game of hide-and-go-seek. Let this ooey gooey chocolate drip warm brownie and ice-cream recipe give you a big warming cuddle.We think it is better than sunshine!

Ingredients:

1 pouch of Broderick’s  Gooey Oozy Chocolately Solid Brownie.

1 Tub of good quality vanilla or caramel ice-cream

Chocolate Sauce: 

225g of Lily O Brien’s Milk Chocolate Drops
125ml of Avonmore double cream
30g of sugar

 

Method:

Step 1: Chocolate Sauce
Place all of the ingredients into a heavy saucepan on a low heat.
Gently heat the mixture , stirring until the chocolate is melted and the sauce is warm.
Do not boil the mixture.

Step 2: Heat the brownies
Remove the packaging from Broderick’s handmade brownies . Place on a plate and warm in 150 c oven for 5 minutes or alternatively pop in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.

Step 3: Make your Sundae
In a sundae glass or a bowl, pile three warm brownies on top of each other. Scoop two or three scoops of ice cream over the brownies. Generously pour chocolate sauce over the top.
