Rebel City Distillery

Located in the historic Docklands of Cork City, Rebel City Distillery is a boutique distillery housed in a former Ford factory. Founded by Robert and Bhagya Barrett, the distillery fuses Cork’s rebellious spirit with India’s spice heritage to create premium, contemporary Irish spirits.

Our award-winning Maharani Irish Gin is a fusion of Irish craft and Keralan botanicals, ethically sourced from a female-run spice cooperative in India. In 2025, we proudly launched Maharani Vodka, a smooth and characterful spirit crafted with the same dedication to quality and innovation. The distillery is also home to Ireland’s only absinthe, further showcasing our adventurous approach to flavour.

Visitors can enjoy tours, tastings, and cocktail classes, offering an immersive journey into the craft of distilling. Each bottle from Rebel City Distillery tells a story of culture, craft, and connection — proudly made in Cork and shared with the world.
